(From Part 1) The latest rumor of NFL draft day madness is that the Rams are looking to pick up Sammy Watkins to get some much needed help at wide receiver. No matter where Watkins lands he will make an instant impact as he is probably the most talented wide receiver in this year’s NFL draft!
The Minnesota Viking are in desperate need of a leader and rumor has it that they have their eye on QB Blake Bortles. Bortles is one of the top prospects in this year’s draft and is expected to go high in the 1st round. He is a ready for the NFL and whichever team lands him will hit the ground running as Bortles might secretly be the most solid quarterback in the 2014 NFL draft!
If any team needed to make a splash in this year’s draft it is the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are rumored to be going after Johnny Manziel if he is still available if not they would gladly settle for Fresno States Derek Carr. Browns hopeful are losing faith and desperately need something to believe in!
Another team rumored to be in the Johnny Manziel Sweepstakes is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though they recently signed a quarterback in ex Bear Josh McCown, if Manziel is still available when their number is up it will be hard for Lovie Smith and the boys to take a pass regardless of the promises made to McCown.
The Houston Texans control their own destiny with this year’s number one draft pick but don’t be surprised if they trade it away in hopes to get more 1st rounds picks as they need immediate help at many positions!
